Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,756 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 191,764 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,748,496 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 11.0% positive rate and 25 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,224 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,206 cases and 29 deaths reported (up 19 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 673 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 30 new cases), Franklin County has 421 positive cases and 26 deaths (up 4 new cases), and Ripley County has 615 positive cases and 9 deaths (up 27 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 80 new positive cases and 1 new death.
