Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 2,062 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 166,564 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,646,542 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 10.1% positive rate and 51 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,958 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,038 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 7 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 533 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 5 new cases), Franklin County has 383 positive cases and 25 deaths (no change), and Ripley County has 488 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 5 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 17 new positive cases.
