Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,551 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 150,664 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,572,350 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 9.6% positive rate and 48 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,775 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 916 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 13 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 498 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 4 new cases), Franklin County has 365 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 2 new cases), and Ripley County has 422 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 5 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 24 new positive cases.
