Osgood, IN — Southeastern Indiana REMC announced the results of its Board of Directors Election during the cooperative’s virtual annual meeting on October 1. This year there were three board districts up for election.
To be eligible for membership on the board of directors, a candidate must have been a resident of the district for a minimum of 1 year and must remain a resident of that district during their term. Other eligibility requirements apply and are available for inspection or review upon request.
In compliance with the bylaws, a Nominating Committee was appointed to select a slate of nominees for director from each district. This year, the nominating committee members were:
• District 1 – Tony Dierckman, Jim Kirschner, and Tony Schneider.
• District 7 – Judy Elston, Vicki Fox, and Pauline Welling.
• District 8 – DeAnn Yeager-Sharp, Charlene Anderson, and Michael Wolfe.
The candidates from District 1 were Vince Moster, Dan Eckstein, and Tony Schwab.
The candidate from District 7 was Darrell Smith.
The candidate from District 8 was Bonnie Boggs.
Those elected for a three-year term on the Board of Directors of Southeastern Indiana REMC were District 1, Vince Moster; District 7, Darrell Smith; and District 8, Bonnie Boggs.
