Dorothy M. Holcomb, 94, of Holton passed away at 8:45pm, Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Four Seasons Health Center in Columbus. She was born in Cincinnati on July 14, 1926 the daughter of Robert and Osa Fay Sullivan Rishforth. She was preceded in death by her husbands William John Eichler and John Holcomb. Survivors include one daughter Sherlyn (Robert) Kimball of Holton; one son Gary (Karen) Eichler of Fairfield, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Helen Majors, and 4 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Holcomb was a 1944 graduate of St. Bernard High School in Cincinnati. Dorothy was a former resident of Fairfield, Ohio and also of Greensburg and spent her working career in accounting at various firms in Indiana and Ohio. She enjoyed time with her family, sewing, cooking, embroidery, and crocheting. Dorothy was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church and also the Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5th at 12pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Mitch Harrell of the Zenas Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Tanglewood Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Monday and will begin at 10am. Memorials may be given to the Tanglewood Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
