Franklin County, IN — Indiana Department of Transportation contractors will close SR 252 between Big Cedar Road and Johnson Fork Road near Mt. Carmel for a pipe replacement project.
Local access will be maintained up to the point of closure (mile marker 43.4), but thru traffic will not be permitted. The official detour will follow SR 252 to SR 126 at Ross, Ohio to S. 128 at Miamitown, Ohio to I-74 Westbound to US 52 at Brookville (Exit 169), back to SR 252.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather dependent.
