Statewide—The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1794 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 62,372 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 701,311 tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.9% positive rate and 19 new deaths were reported for a total of 2,706 Hoosiers have died to date.
Locally Dearborn County has a total of 398 cases and 27 deaths reported (up 19 new cases, 2 deaths), Decatur County has a total of 277 positive cases and 32 deaths (up 6 new cases), Franklin County has 173 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 8 new cases), and Ripley County has 179 positive cases and 7 deaths (up 8 new cases),. This is an increase of 41 new positive cases locally.
