Mr. Patrick Joseph “Pat” Monjar, age 43 of Patriot, Indiana passed away at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Patrick was born on April 8, 1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Lawrence Joseph “Larry” and Ann Marie (Brady) Monjar. Pat was a 1995 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. He was employed as a bellman and a valet attendant for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana for 15 years. Pat was employed for Dorman Products in Warsaw, Kentucky for three years. Pat enjoyed drawing, music, crafts with his girls, and golf. He loved spending time with his family and friends but most of all time spent building memories with his daughters and their new puppy. He was a loving and devoted father, son, brother and uncle. Pat had a beautiful soul that shown through the moment you met him. He carried his heart on his sleeve. He was so caring and would be there for anyone that needed something no matter how big or small. Pat was easy to talk to and was always there to lend an ear. He didn’t know a stranger. Pat would never burden anyone with his own problems or even ask for help. He was laid-back and just wanted to make you smile. He enjoyed life and kept things simple. Pat was a child of God and prayed for those he loved.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Rylee Hope Monjar, age 13 and Rowan Marie Monjar, age 6; his parents, Lawrence Joseph “Larry” and Ann Marie (Brady) Monjar of Patriot, IN; his brother, Michael L. Turner and his wife, Melinda of Patriot, IN; his sister, Emily M. Roberts and her husband, Ryan of Patriot, IN; his nieces and nephews, Courtney D. Tucker and her husband, Chad of Madison, IN, Mikayla S. Beckett and her husband, Cody of Patriot, IN, Alijah J. Hambrick and his companion, Kayla of Miamisburg, OH, Bryce M. Turner of Patriot, IN and Jace A. Hambrick of Patriot, IN; his great-niece and great-nephew, Indi and Wells Tucker of Madison, IN his dear friend, Trina Poore of Sparta, KY and his several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harley J. Monjar and Georgia M. (King) Monjar-Sexton and his maternal-grandparents, Thomas J. and Katherine A. (Hess) Brady.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Mike Jones at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery, Patriot, Indiana.
