Southeastern, IN—The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch will be in effect now through 8 pm Tuesday. In the area of the watch, 1 to 2 inches of rain will fall on soil saturated from the rain last night. This will lead to the potential for flash flooding.
The heaviest rain will fall during the morning hours Monday with a brief period of lighter rain during the afternoon. Another round of heavy rain is expected tonight and Tuesday morning. Take precautions if heading outdoors today and remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
