Greensburg, IN—The Greensburg – Decatur County Public Library is pleased to announce that it will be starting curbside pickup on Wednesday, May 13. The Greensburg Library will be open 10 am – 6 pm Monday through Thursday for Curbside Pickup only. There is a limit of 10 items per pickup.
You can browse the online catalog to choose books, magazines, or DVDs that you would like to request, but they ask that you do not place these items on hold through the Evergreen online system. Only materials owned by the Greensburg Library will be available for hold and check-out. To check out an item either call the Library at 812-663-2826 or email at [email protected] to request your items. A staff member will take your request for fulfillment. Please have your library card handy as we will need it to process the request.
Staff will call each patron to arrange a pickup time during the pickup hours.
When arriving for pick-up, pull into one of four designated curbside pickup spots that will be marked by a sign with phone number and instructions, call the Library at 812-663-2826, and let staff know that you are here to pick up a hold, giving your name and parking spot number.
After you notify the Library that you have arrived, open your trunk, hatch, etc., get back into the car, and please stay in the car. Staff will deliver your items to your trunk or hatchback and make no contact. If you have items to return, please place those in the book drop for proper handling and quarantine.
