DEARBORN CO., Ind. – One man is dead following a single-vehicle crash near Dover Monday morning.
Police say the crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the 26000 block of Ennis Ridge Road, which is located between St. Leon and Dover.
“Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies learned that the male and only occupant of the vehicle was travelling north on Ennis Ridge Road when the vehicle left the west side of the roadway and crashed into a group of trees,” according to a press release from the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office.
The identity of the man has not been released. Authorities believe speed was a factor in the crash.
The sheriff’s office was assisted on the scene by St. Leon Fire Department, Sunman EMS and the Indiana State Police.
