State issues “stay-at-home” order Monday

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb issued a “stay-at-home” order Monday in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. The order goes from March 25 through April 7.

The order asks Hoosiers to remain in their homes except when they are at work or for permitted activities, such as taking care of others, obtaining necessary supplies, and for health and safety.

“The best thing we can do for each other, for this generation and the next and for our economy, is to get a handle on the virus by slowing the spread,” said Gov. Holcomb during the press conference.
