Helen M. Klosterkemper, age 97, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020. She was born June 16, 1922 in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Frank and Veronica (Raver) Hellmich. Helen was a 1940 graduate of Oldenburg Academy. On June 16, 1951, she married Harold Joseph Klosterkemper and together they had two children, Mark and Mary. Helen was the owner of Klosterkemper Tax Service. Helen was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Lawrence Auxiliary of Greensburg and Indiana Public Accountants Society. She was a co-founder of the Power of the Past Fiddle Contest.
Helen is survived by her son, Mark (Darlene Keller) Klosterkemper; daughter, Mary (Ronald) Hamer; grandchildren, Jarrad (Ann) Klosterkemper, Eric (Autumn) Klosterkemper, Josh Amburgey, Jessica (Glen) Underwood, Rhonda Phillips and Christy (Mike) Lecher; great grandchildren, Hunter and Bryce Koors, Gavin, Jordan and Ethan Amburgey, Ryder and Julianna Klosterkemper, Ava and Roman Klosterkemper, Cody, Molly, Tyler, Brady and Ella Lecher, Emily Cook, Madison Phillips, Taylor Underwood, McKenzie, Mia and Kobe Perry. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold Klosterkemper.
A Private Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Father John Meyer officiating. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
