Eunice F. Miller

Eunice F. Miller, age 84 of Batesville, died Friday, March 20, 2020 at her home. Born November 5, 1935 in Franklin County Indiana, she is the daughter of Bertha (Nee: Geis) and William Metz. She worked 19 years at the Hill-Rom Company as an assembler.

Family was most important to Eunice and she dearly loved having her children and grandchildren with her. Very devout, her religion was also important to her. She enjoyed traveling with her brothers and sisters, having visited every state, as well as Canada and Mexico. She also liked going for a leisurely ride in the country. According to her family, Eunice was an exceptional cook and her lasagna, dirt cake and carrot cake will be sorely missed by all. Other activities she enjoyed were trips to the casino, bingo and playing cards at the senior center.

Eunice is survived by her daughters Cindy Moody of Cincinnati, Charlene Faust of Batesville, Cathy Hoog of Sunman, Connie Miller of Batesville, Bonnie Krekeler of Batesville; sons Joseph Miller Jr. and Scott Miller, both of Batesville; sister Dolores Bosse of Cincinnati, brothers Thomas Metz of Connersville, Indiana, William Metz of Cincinnati; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by sisters Roslyn Volk, Lucille Hilbert, Catherine Back, Rosemary Moster; brothers Anthony, James, Harry and Paul Metz and great granddaughter Adalynn Rose Miller.

Due to the Governor’s mandate limiting gatherings to 50 people because of the Corona Virus pandemic, a private visitation and funeral service will be held for the immediate family on Wednesday.
