Brookville, IN—U.S. 52 will close west of Brookville in Franklin County on or after Wednesday, March 4, for crews to begin work on a slide repair project. INDOT contractors will stabilize approximately 900 feet of roadway and shoulder with a shotcrete soil nail wall.
The road will close about one-half mile west of S.R. 101 in Franklin County through mid-to-late June. The detour route for U.S. 52 EB will follow I-74 to S.R. 229, and for U.S. 52 WB. will follow S.R. 1 to S.R. 44. Motorists are asked to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather dependent.
