Gregory Phillips, 49, of Greensburg passed away on December 19, 2019. He was born on September 8, 1970 in Greensburg, the son of Garrett and Phyllis Kinnett Phillips. Greg was a 1989 graduate of Greensburg High School. He married Dana Lynn Ruble on September 28, 1996 and together they have raised two sons, Logan and Parker. Greg worked as an operator for Dave O’Mara Construction for many years. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include: Wife, Dana Phillips; Sons, Logan Gregory Phillips and Parker Daniel Phillips; Parents, Garrett and Phyllis Phillips; Brother, Brian (Andrea) Phillips; Mother in Law, Suzanna Kitchin; and Brother in Law, Todd (Brandi) Ruble. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents.
A Rosary will be prayed on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 3:00 pm. Visitation for family and friends will follow from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior. Father John Meyer will be officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to the St. Mary’s Catholic School.
