Frank Wilson Lewis Sr., 82 of Milan passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at his residence. Frank was born Thursday, May 6, 1937 in Milan the son of the late Raymond and Flora (Rodmaker) Lewis. He married Veva Runyan July 12, 1964 and she preceded him in death August 30, 2014. Frank retired from the Milan School System and enjoyed walking and mowing yards.
Frank is survived by son Frank W. (Billie Jo) Lewis Jr. of Morris; daughters Rose Marie Lewis and Elizabeth Ann Lewis both of Milan; and brother Roger Lewis of Old Milan. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and son Raymond Earl Lewis in 1968.
A service celebrating his life will be held 11 AM Monday, December 23 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Burial will follow in Craven Cemetery at Milan. Family and friends may gather to share and remember him 9 – 11 AM Monday also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in honor of Frank to Milan Volunteer Fire Department or Ripley County EMS (Milan).
