Trent J. Mollaun, age 61 of Milan, died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Born March 27, 1958 in Batesville, he is the son of Jean (Nee: Tekulve) and Alphonse “Butch” Mollaun. He married Charlotte Caudill March 15, 1991 in Sevierville County Tennessee and worked as an assembler at the Hill-Rom Company for 32 years.
Trent was a lifelong Bengals and Reds fan. He liked to golf and could watch episodes of M.A.S.H. non-stop. He also enjoyed playing lottery scratch offs, was a former youth football and baseball coach and liked playing 70’s music loudly. And loved hugs!
Trent is survived by his wife Charlotte; daughter Emma Mollaun of Milan; sons Bryan (Melissa) Mollaun of Sunman, Brandon Mollaun of Milan; sister Antonia Townsend of Indianapolis; brothers Terrence (Donna) Mollaun of Fairfield, Ohio, Tobias (Mary Kay) Mollaun of Norwalk, Ohio sister-in-law Cindy Caudill and granddaughter Chesney Mollaun; nephews Tod, Mitchell, Corey and Dennis; nieces Becky, Anna, Meghan and Holly as well as several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 2nd, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 3rd also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the family.
