The 7th Grade Cardinals from St. Louis took on Benjamin Rush on Monday, November 25th. Despite outscoring Benjamin Rush in the 2nd half the Cardinals lost by a score of 35-21. The Cardinals were led in scoring by Henry Wanstrath and Adam Meer who each scored 7 points. Other players getting in the scoring column were Ryan Duerstock with 4 points, Christian Mack with 2 points, and Suly Hill with 1 point. Adam Meer led the way with 5 rebounds (all in the 2nd half). Sam Laloge had 3 steals, while Henry Wanstrath led the team with 2 assists. The Cardinals next game is at home against South Dearborn on Monday, December 2nd.

The Cardinals fell to Benjamin Rush 41 to 33 in a hard-fought battle against a very talented team. St. Louis trailed most of the game cutting it to a 4 point lead at half time. Rushville’s athleticism and depth proved to be too much for the now 5-4 Cardinals. Miles had 24 points, Meyer had 6 points and 5 rebounds, Ritter had 2 points and 7 rebounds, and Conway had 1 point and 5 rebounds. The Cardinals host South Dearborn next Monday, December 2nd.
