The STL 6th Grade Boys traveled to St. Michael’s. While the score doesn’t show a win we definitely won in SO many ways tonight. At the half, we were down 37-14! We came back from this the second half and only lost by 6!! The ending score was 47-41 if we would have had another minute of play this game would have been SLS’s win.
We choose at the half to not throw in the towel instead of finding that GRIT and work HARD to come back. I have never coached a team that wouldn’t have been so down at the half that they could come back like that. Amazing to see and coach!
Scoring for SLS was Caleb Mohr with 18 pts, Jaiden Kuria with 11 pts, Ben Greiwe with 5 pts, Ty Reder with 4 pts, and Jack Freeland with 3 pts. Vincent Meneses does such a great job with the press and reading the pass defensively he was a vital role.
Nice work guys our next game is tonight at SLS against Greendale.
