Statewide—The Indiana Department of Transportation is offering civil engineering students scholarships of up to $3,125 per semester and paid employment during summer breaks and upon graduation.
Civil engineers perform the crucial duty of creating and maintaining our public infrastructure. Indiana is looking to invest $1 billion on a variety of road projects under a plan unveiled last year, and the next generation of workers must be trained and prepared to meet our state’s needs.
Applicants must be accepted or enrolled full time in one of Indiana’s certified civil engineering schools and apply using the form at www.INDOTScholarship.IN.gov. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year must be submitted by Dec. 31, 2019. To learn more about the INDOT Engineer Scholarship program and the application process, click here.
