Aileen M. Koester, 95, Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. Born January 5, 1924 in Ripley County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Alvin and Matilda (Gander) Cramer. Aileen was a homemaker and she loved spending time with her family. She was married to Walter R. Koester on February 20, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1985. She is survived by three daughters, Julia (Ron) Thompson, Virginia Tichenor, Nancy Herbert; two sons, William Koester, Samuel (Carol) Koester; ten grandchildren, Connie Barker, Victoria Williams, Lisa Barker, Michael Koester, Steven Herbert, Sierra Koester, Cynthia Mackey, Lauren Koester, Allan Koester, Adam Koester; ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Paul Koester; one sister, Dolores (George) Amberger; one son-in-law, Marvin Herbert. Private services will be held for the family.
