Mary Lou Walter

Mary Lou Walter, 81, of Brookville, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019, after a long illness.

Mary was born in Connersville on July 31, 1938 to Cecil and Nadine Seibert Roemer. She was a 1956 graduate of Brookville High School. Mary was employed as a machinist at Campbell Hausfeld for more than thirty years before retiring. She attended Sunman Bible Church and Mary loved traveling to Florida, caring for her flower garden, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children: Virginia Boone Watson, Richard and Tina Boone, Glen and Ella Walter, Dean and Linda Walter, Ed Walter, Denise Walter Richards and Jerald, Felicity Walter Hollon and Dean, Patty Walter Haas and Don, Carl Walter, Vicky Walter Wintz and Jim, and Stacey Walter; sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grand children; and a brother: William and Carol Roemer.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Phillip Boone in 1967; her second husband Francis Walter; her daughter, Rochelle J. Boone Hollon on June 5, 2003.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home 929 Main Street in Brookville, IN, with Dave Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association.
