Versailles, IN—This Ripley County Commissioners have announced that the Burn Ban has been lifted for Ripley County. It is the only county in the 22 counties in southern and southeastern Indiana to announce a lift. You can go to in.gov/dhs/burnban/ to check to see if your county has made any changes.
Switzerland County has extended the burn ban until October 31st and will reevaluate the situation at that date.
