Lawrenceburg, IN—Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg campus has awarded $1000 scholarships to both the King and Queen of the Aurora Farmer’s Fair. The 2019 festival kicked off Wednesday evening with the crowing of the King and Queen. Jackson Ketcham, from East Central High School, was crowned king and Liz Yelton from South Dearborn High School was crowned Queen.
“Ivy Tech is honored to partner with the Aurora Farmer’s Fair to offer scholarships to these deserving young people,” commented Shakira Grubbs, Vice-Chancellor of Enrollment and Student Success for the Lawrenceburg campus.
This year, the theme for the Aurora Farmer’s Fair celebrates the city’s bicentennial. It is organized by the volunteers of the Aurora Lions Club.
