Brookville Resident Arrested for Conspiracy to Deal Methamphetamine

Brookville, IN—In the early afternoon hours on Saturday, investigators with the Brookville Police Department executed a residential search warrant. The focus of the search warrant was a residence located in a mobile home park in the southern portion of Brookville.

A search of the property resulted in officers with the Brookville Police Department discovering the following items which were seized:

  1. A crystalline substance, which field-tested positive for the presence of Methamphetamine.
  2. Multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia.
  3.  A green leafy substance, identified to be Marijuana.
  4. 4. Multiple digital scales.

The owner of the residence, William Darrell Wooton, of Brookville, Indiana was immediately taken into custody by investigating officers. Wooton was transported to the Franklin County Security Center in lieu of bond and was booked on the charges of Conspiracy to Deal in Methamphetamine with Enhancing Circumstances, Possession of Methamphetamine with Enhancing Circumstances, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
