Lady Cardinals And Lady Chargers Split VB Battle

The 7th Grade Volleyball Team was defeated by the North Decatur Charges 25-7, 25-11. The top server was Rachel Suttmann with 6 points had the only ace of the game. Cora Roth and Sophia Hohenstein contribute with a point each.  Kalli Obermeyer dug the ball well to help setup the offense. The offense was pushed forward by Jaelyn Owens, Ashley Hunter and Lucy Abplanalp with a hit a piece.

The St. Louis Cardinals 8th Grade Volleyball team worked well together to push out a win against the North Decatur Chargers. 25-22 & 25-18 Even though the Cardinals struggled at the serving line the team worked together as a team to stay on top of the Chargers. Kate Weber served up 11 points for the team followed by Lilly Schebler and Catherine Streator with 4 points each, Rhea Miller 3 points, Maggie Beiser 2 points and Ingrid Tuveson, Ava Owens, Isabelle Wonnell and Claire Saner with a point each. Solid passing was given by Ella Moster. Moster, Streator, Saner, Wonnell & Weber were strong on offense for several hits.

For ND 7th Graders, Kelsey Haley and Sydney Rohls led the team in serving with 17pts and 13 pts each. Serving all around contributed to the victory. Teamwork has been the key to our first two victories this season.
