Bargersville, IN—Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a dirt bike accident that occurred over the weekend in Bargersville.
ICO was called to investigate the incident that left a Johnson County juvenile injured. The initial investigation revealed that an eight-year-old child was operating a Honda CRF dirt bike on County Road 375 N. The child lost control, fell off the bike, and reportedly sustained a broken leg before being transported to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health for treatment.
The investigating officer from the Department of Natural Resources reports that the juvenile was wearing a helmet.
