The Lady Wildcats were back in action on Saturday after a much-needed break last week. The break seemed to have paid off! The team was able to post a score of 369 to win the Connersville Invitational. It’s the teams 2nd tournament win of the season. Junior, Gracie Graf, was low for the team with a score of 88 which also earned her a top 5 finish. Senior, Ashlan Hill, posted a personal best with a score of 94.
“After a much deserved break last week the team came out a little slow on Saturday but was able to remain patient and hold it together to post a decent score. I kept telling them all day that the course we were playing wasn’t going to allow anyone to play perfect golf. It’s a tough course with a lot of water and tight driving holes. Most teams will shoot 5-10 strokes higher than normal on a course like this. I’m proud of this team and their consistent play throughout the year. It’s been a real team effort and each and every player has contributed to this teams success.” Wildcats Coach Marisa Mears.

The Batesville Lady Bulldogs finished 7th in the 14 team Connersville Invitational Saturday with a score of 441 playing without their #2 golfer.
Batesville’s Emma Weiler was the individual champion with a Three over par 75 This is Emma’s third win in the 4 invitationals that’s she’s played.
Franklin County was team champion with a score of 369. The rest of the team scores were Richmond 379, Fishers 380, Zionsville 382, Connersville 417, Yorktown 429, Batesville 441, Lawrenceburg 444, Jennings County 461, North Decatur 468, Hurting Catholic 483, Union County 495, Centerville 510, Park Tudor Inc.

The Lady Charges finished 10th out of 13 teams at the Connersville Invite Saturday at Willowbrook Country Club. Senior Sidney Parmer finished 2nd overall with a score of 79.
