St. Paul, IN—Tuesday evening, Decatur County Communications received a call of a semi-truck accident at the St. Paul exit on I-74, exit 123 eastbound. Decatur County Sheriffs Deputies responded, along with emergency personnel, to the accident.
The on and off-ramps at the exit were closed, but I-74 remained open during the investigation and recovery. The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office was the first at the scene, along with Shelby County Deputies. The driver was flown by lifeline helicopter for unknown injuries.
Indiana State Police are now heading the investigation.
