Greensburg, IN—The Greensburg Police Department has introduced its newest K9, Hercules to the community!
Hercules is partnered with Officer Mitch Tuttle. They graduated from their training program in Indianapolis on Friday and are now a certified team!
Over the last 12 weeks, the pair has been attending training at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s K9 School. The pair is now certified in tracking and criminal apprehension. Soon they will be sent to be trained in narcotics detection as well.
Yesterday was their first official day on the road together and they join K9 Echo and Sgt. Chris Bridges as K9 units for the department.
