Each year the annual Brookville Canoefest attracts more than 2,500 participants and visitors from the hometown of Brookville, Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati. Participants come to the event to paddle in races on scenic Whitewater River, enjoy delicious chicken, play games, listen to great entertainment, watch the most spectacular fireworks display in the region, and enjoy time with friends. Help us celebrate the uniqueness of this event and over 50 years of paddling in Brookville.

Proceeds from this year’s Brookville Canoefest will benefit FC Can (support cancer survivors in Franklin County) and the Franklin County Humane Society. We are also partnering with Franklin County 4H and with the Whitewater Byway Association.

Come out to Canoefest and enjoy the Whitewater River, beautiful scenery, food and lodging in our area, along with some good old fashioned competition and wonderful entertainment, festivities, and camaraderie. We look forward to seeing you!
