Lavonne M. (Shasky) Scheffler 62, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday May 5, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born October 18, 1956 in Mansfield, OH, daughter of Kenneth and Hannah (Hildebrand) Shasky. Lavonne worked at SIEOC as assistant teacher for 5 years and was at Walmart for 12 years prior. She enjoyed yard sales, crafting, collecting dolphin figurines and baking, (she was known for her Christmas platters and Easter baskets) Lavonne was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Her time with family was her greatest joy and she will be missed by family and friends.
Lavonne is survived by her loving spouse of 43 years Robert “Bob” E. Scheffler, sons, Robert D. (Summer) Scheffler of Rising Sun, IN, Ryan (Beth) Scheffler of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Mathew & Jonathan Funk, Joshua Scheffler; sisters, Michele Shasky of Mansfield, OH, Annette Watkins of Galion, OH; .
Friends will be received Thursday, May 9, 2019, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday at 7:00 pm.
