Eileen Grace Lewis, 81, of Milan passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her sons home with family by her side. Grace was born Monday, May 31, 1937 in Ohio, the daughter of Melvin and Alberta (Rush) Wallace. She married Roger Lewis Sr. March 28, 1978 and he survives. She worked for the Jay C Store and as a CNA at the Milan Nursing Home. She enjoyed camping, campfires, dancing, going to dirt and flat drag races, reading, horses and feeding animals.
Grace is survived by sons: Thomas (Debbie) Arthur, Albert (Debbie) Arthur, David (Lura) Arthur, Tim (Cathy) Arthur, Jeff (Jen) Arthur and Roger (Alice) Lewis Jr; daughters: Barb (Ron) Bruns and Mel Lynch; sister Dorothy; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Mary Arthur; sisters: Vickie, Bonnie and Melba and brother Albert.
A service celebrating her life will be held 6 PM Friday 22, 2019, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with grandson Pastor Matthew Bruns officiating. Family and friends may gather to honor and remember her 4 – 6 PM Friday also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in honor of Grace to the family.
