Lady Cards Fall Short Against St. Nick’s Trojans

The 5th Grade Cardinals had their first home game of the season against St. Nicholas on Tuesday Night losing 12-10. The Cardinals got off to a slow start, but kicked it up a notch in the fourth quarter, scoring 8 of their 10 points. Unfortunately, the team was unable to pull out a win. Rachel Suttmann led the team on offense scoring 10 points. Bridget Lohmueller led the Cardinals with some intense defense. The 6th Grade Lady Cardinals lost a Titanic battle tonight to visiting St. Nicholas 20 to 11. Scoring for the Cardinals were Kenzie Maple 7 points, Anna Moore and Lucy Abplanalp 2 points respectively. Ainsley Sipples led the defense with 6 rebounds.
