The St. Louis 5th Grade Girls’ Basketball team traveled to Mt. Carmel for the second game of the season. The Cardinals fought hard, but ultimately came home with a loss, 25-11. Leading the way on offense was Rachel Suttmann scoring 9 points, being 5 for 6 on the free throw line. Cora Roth chipped in 2 points. The Cardinals really stepped up their defensive game with some full court pressure. The 6 Grade Lady Cardinals lost to Mt. Carmel Monday night 36 to 5. The Lady Cardinals consisting of Anna Moore, Kenzie Maple, Ainsley Sipples, Maria Voegele, Emily Schebler, Lucy Abplanalp and help from 5 th graders, Rachel Suttmann, Jaelyn Owens and Karsyn Watson played very aggressive with a lot of hustle.
