St. Louis-1 advanced to the CYO Tourney Semi-Finals with a win over St. Louis-3 67-35.
Even though St. Louis-1 would win easily, the first 12 minutes of the game St. Louis-3 would make a games of it. With 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, St. Louis-1 would only lead 15-14. From that point St. Louis-1 would outsource St. Louis-3 15-0 and lead 30-14 at half time. ‘We didn’t start the game playing with any intensity but you have to give St. Louis-3 credit for taking advantage. This was a tough game to play but I am glad we are moving on.’ Bruins Coach Roger Dietz.
St. Louis-2 would defeat St. Maurice 56-41 and advanced to the Semi-finals of the deanery tournament.
This was a game that wouldn’t be decided until 4th quarter as St. Louis-2 would pull away to win.
