Richard Lynn “Ricky” Mathews, 58, of Canaan, Indiana, passed away Saturday January 26, 2019 in Hanover, Indiana.
He was born September 14, 1960 in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late John Mathews and Irma (Disbro) Mathews.
Ricky enjoyed sitting around the campfire, he loved to be outdoors. He liked telling jokes and making people laugh. He was a very loving person and always had a positive attitude. Ricky will be missed by all who knew him.
Ricky is survived by his brother, William “Billy” Mathews of Oldenburg, Indiana; step sister, Gena Stewart of Rising Sun, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jacqueline O’Conner, Marilyn Loudon, Georgia Kirby and Virginia Wright; brothers, John Mathews, Jr., and Mitchell Mathews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
