St. Louis-3 picked the right time to pick up their first win of the season as they defeated St. Catherine’s 44-37 in the first round of the Deanery Tournament.
St. Louis-3 fell behind early as they trailed 13-6 after the first quarter. In the 2nd quarter St. Louis-3 offensive picked up as they outscored St. Catherine’s 16 -7 and led 22-20 at half time. The 3rd quarter would outscore St. Louis-3 10-5 to take a 3 point led going in the final quarter of play 3-27. St. Louis-3 found their touch back in the 4th quarter as the outscored St. Catherine’s. 14-7 to secure the win and advanced to the 2nd round of the deanery tournament.
