St. Louis-1 defeated St. Mary’s-1 62-59. Despite not playing well in the first half St. Louis-1 only trailed 26-23 at halftime. I wasn’t sure how we would play the first game back after the Christmas break and with the number of turnovers we had in the first half, I felt good only trailing by 3. St. Louis-1 played a lot better in the second half and was able to come away with the 3 point win. We knew St. Mary’s-1 was a good team as they hadn’t lost all year and to come away with the victory at their place says a lot about us. Courtesy of Bruins Coach Roger Dietz.
