Batesville, In. — Twenty-fours after a November ice storm more than 5,000 households remain in the dark, the majority of them are Southeastern Indiana REMC customers.
Officials from Duke Energy expect reinforcements from the Carolinas to arrive Friday morning to bolster their response.
Crews from Southeastern Indiana REMC, Decatur County REMC and the Whitewater Valley REMC continue to work tirelessly to get customers back online.
