Lawrenceburg celebrates the holidays

Lawrenceburg, In. — The Over the Moon Vintage Holiday Market will be open Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17 offering a huge assortment of vintage, re-purposed and salvaged goods at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds, while the nearby Lawrenceburg Event Center will host a Holiday Shopping Expo this Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18.  In addition to a large selection of unique handmade merchandise, home decor, gift cards, stocking stuffers and gift items, the Expo will feature a live reindeer display, wine tasting and live musical entertainment throughout the weekend.  Admission to the Expo is $5 per person for those age 13 and older, and free for ages 12 and under.

In downtown Lawrenceburg, the Whiskey City Antique Mall & Boutique has planned a Holiday Open House for this Saturday (November 17) from 11am-8pm.

Shoppers can also find handmade gift items and shop the silent auction at the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council’s Arts Alive Art Fair & Gift Bazaar (November 20-December 22 at the Arts Council Gallery, 331 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg), or discover fair trade items at the International Fair Trade Sale (November 29-December 1 at the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds).

The communities of Lawrenceburg and Aurora will also be hosting their annual Small Business Saturday events.  Both are planned for Saturday, November 24 and will offer merchant promotions and holiday activities continuing throughout Thanksgiving weekend.
