Indiana senior senator elected to national post

Washington D.C.— Republican Indiana senator Todd Young has been elected chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Young is charged with leading to maintain and expand Republican control of the U.S. Senate in 2020.

Young is now the senior senator from Indiana.
