Batesville, In. — An abandoned barn on State Road 229 near Northside Drive was destroyed by fire Halloween night. Around 12:27 a.m. firefighters discovered the structure fully engulfed in flames.
No injuries were reported. The barn was a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
Oldenburg Eagle Fire Company and the Morris Volunteer Fire Department provided mutual aid.
