Aurora, In. — Ivy Tech Community College has awarded two $1,000 scholarships to the king and queen of the 2018 Aurora Farmers Fair.

The scholarships were awarded on opening night of the fair October 3 to Brice Keeton, who was crowned king, and Paige Gindling, who was crowned queen. Keeton is a student at the Southeastern Career Center, and Gindling is a student at East Central High School.

Keeton and Gindling have an opportunity to use the scholarships to earn college credits and pursue a certificate or associate degree at Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg.

“We are proud to support the Aurora Farmers Fair and to have an opportunity to honor the fair’s king and queen,” said Loretta Day, Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg Director of Development. “These scholarships will be of great help to these students as they pursue their education and work toward academic and career success.”
