Major League Baseball has announced the 2019 regular season schedule, and the Cincinnati Reds will begin their season with Opening Day on Thursday, March 28 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 100th annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade will take place that day as well prior to the game.
The 2019 slate also includes a special International Series in Monterrey, Mexico on April 13 and 14. The Reds will serve as the home team in a pair of games against the St. Louis Cardinals that weekend.
Next year’s battle for the Ohio Cup will feature two games in Cleveland June 11-12, followed by a two-game weekend series at Great American Ball Park July 6-7. Additional highlights of the home schedule include weekend series against the Chicago Cubs on June 28-30 and Aug. 8-11, along with Interleague matchups against the Texas Rangers (June 14-16), Houston Astros (June 17-19) and Los Angeles Angels (Aug. 5-6).
