Nicholas takes leadership role at local dance studio

Batesville, In. — Lydia Woodward, director of Southeastern Indiana Dance, Inc., is pleased to announce that Brittany Nicholas has expanded her role within the studio by becoming the Office Manager. She will also be teaching Hip Hop to students starting at the age of 6, Mini Movers, a class for 3 1/2 year olds, Fairy Ballet for 4 yer olds, and Ballet 1 for 5+ year olds. Woodward stated, “We are very excited about Brittany’s additional duties with us. She will bring great communication skills and terrific new ideas that we are thrilled about.”

Nicholas graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Dance. She began dancing at the age of 6 in her hometown of Owensboro,  KY. Over the past 22 years she has studied various styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She was a member of her middle school and high school dance team, as well as a member of the NKU dance team. Brittany began teaching for SEI Dance Inc. in the spring of 2014 and has been a dance team coach in Campbell County, KY for the past 6 years. Brittany and her husband Joel live in Florence, KY with their three dogs.
