Legendary Indiana Football Hall of Fame Coach Dick Meador of Lawrenceburg passed away over the Weekend at the age of 83. Meador led The Tigers to The Class A Football State Crowns in 1975 and 1978 as well as a Runner-up in 1976. The Tigers won 11 EIAC Titles during his time and won Coach of the Year in ’75 and ’78. Meador’s teams had eight undefeated seasons winning 59 games in a row.
In addition to his Hall of Fame coaching career, he was a trendsetter in developing players and programs through a year round weight and conditioning programs.
