Attempt to flee police comes up short in Brookville for wanted Ohio man

Brookville, In. — A tip to Indiana State Police resulted in the arrest of a wanted Ohio man in Brookville Tuesday night.

A report from Sgt. Stephen Wheeles says police began to look for Caleb Ludwick in a gold Cadillac traveling west on I-74 in Dearborn County around 11 p.m. Police found the car exiting the interstate onto U.S. 52.

After stopping for police, Ludwick fled on U.S. 52 toward Brookville. Ludwick lost control when he turned onto Fairfield Avenue and struck two parked cars. He was apprehended after attempting to flee the scene.

Ludiwck will now face charges in Franklin County before being transported to Hamilton County.
