Marvin Harold Ludeker, 71 of Milan passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his residence. Marvin was born Wednesday, September 18, 1946 in Milan, the son of Harold and Dolores (Lattire) Ludeker, who preceded him in death. Marvin married Patricia Gibson, October 16, 1965 and she survives. He served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years in Vietnam, was employed by Rayner Oil Co. for 30+ years and also worked for Aurora Casket. Marvin was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Eagle Scout with Palms, Milan VFW, Charter member of Milan American Legion Post #235, Lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans, served on the Milan Fire Department 20 + years and was their past fire chief. Marvin loved collecting antique fruit jars, buying and selling older baseball cards, enjoyed golfing, baseball and hunting.
Marvin is survived by wife Patty, daughters Kristen (Bill) Ludeker-Seibert and Kara Dawn Ludeker both of Indianapolis, brother Kendell (Wanda) Ludeker of Milan and grandson Zackery Jeremiah Ludeker-Seibert.
Funeral services will be at 11AM Thursday April 5 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7124 N State Road 101, Milan, IN 47031, with Rev. Susan Socha officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, with full military rites provided by the Milan American Legion and Milan VFW. Visitation will be Wednesday 4-7PM also at the church.
